Recently Hartleigh attended her first wedding. On October 4, 2008 my best friend got married and I was a bridesmaid. Cecil got her dressed for the occasion (with a little help from Christian, who got one of Hartleigh's famous spews). I think he did a good job. She was very pretty and was the life of the party.

I was so ready to see my baby girl again after those couple of days of preparation for the wedding and doing wedding things (rehearsal dinner, reception, etc.), that I didn't know what to do. I holed up in the house just me and her and dared anyone to interrupt our catching up.

It took us all a while to recover from that busy weekend. I think it finally hit me how much Hartleigh has changed our lives, but for the better.
