Whew! Finally home sweet home! We enjoyed seeing our family and exploring places we've never been but boy we were glad to get home also. Traveling with a baby is a lot of work but Hartleigh was truly a joy! I am looking forward to many more trips and new experiences with her!

On the trip back we just had to introduce Hartleigh to the beach. Cecil and I absolutely LOVE the beach and the ocean so it just didn't seem right to go a summer without at least getting our toes in the sand and wet in the ocean. So we made a quick stop in Pensacola Beach Fl and spent a few minutes on the beach. Hartleigh didn't seem impressed at all. She didn't like the sun in her eyes and I don't blame her. We looked several places for her a pair of sunglasses and a hat but couldn't find anything that would fit her (which I found suprising since we were in Florida). But we didn't torture her long. Just long enough to stretch and take a few pictures and say we were there.

Ms. Hartleigh is a very lucky girl. She saw the beach when she was just 2 months old while her Daddy and I were both in high school (I had actually just graduated) before we stepped foot on a beach. I hope she grows to like it as much as we do.

We went for a little walk in the neighborhood to check things out. Kendra and Marty have a nice little park right down the road from their house. I'm sure Logan will enjoy it and we will have to take them both there to play on our future visits.

After proud new parents and baby get to come home things settle down and Hartleigh gets back to her normal sweet self. She even stayed with Grandmother, Grandfather, and Aunt Dawn for a little while so that Cecil and I could go to The Melting Pot to eat. So far, she doesn't seem to mind staying with people. I was afraid that she would be very attached to me and wouldn't let anyone else keep her since I have been home with her all this time but that hasn't been a problem. I hope it stays that way.

Uncle Marty and her had a great time together.

She loves her Grandmother.

She enjoyed her little travel swing. Its like the one at home so it was her little piece of home away from home.

She is finally happy to meet her new cousin.

The next day while getting ready to go see Kendra, Marty, and Logan at the hospital she shows everyone that she can and will throw a good fit. She hates getting lotioned down and putting clothes on. I love this picture! She's cute even when she's upset. And no, she does NOT have us wrapped. lol!

She finally meets Logan and she is being ugly. I don't know but there might have been a little bit of jealousy there? I think she was really getting tired from all of the excitement actually.

Hartleigh and Logan finally get the chance to meet each other but they were both so worn out from their exciting days that they couldn't open their eyes to see each other.

She even helped the daddy to be relax a little. I think Uncle Marty was excited to have someone he could talk to! Ha! (love ya Marty).
